Session description:
This session will discuss global issues of CKM service provision, capacity building and advocacy across high and low-income settings. A workshop will be conducted focused on essential communication skills, and transitioning near the end of life including terminal care will be discussed.
Learning objectives:
Understand what is required to develop, implement and sustain CKM programs across high and low resource settings. Understand the essential skills for strong communication required for CKM. Understand how to transition and care for a patient with advanced CKD at the end of life.
