Session description:
This session will comprise three state-of-the-art talks addressing strategies to promote quality and safety in kidney transplantation, the use of machine perfusion for regeneration of kidneys from deceased donors, and menopause in the context of kidney transplantation. All three topics will provide valuable insights into current knowledge of key factors influencing access to, outcomes of, and experiences of living with kidney transplantation including .

Attendees of this session will be able to:
Describe factors influencing quality and safety in kidney transplantation, including data collection and reporting. Discuss the emerging role of machine perfusion in kidney transplantation from deceased donors.Outline factors influencing experiences of menopause and management of menopausal symptoms in the context of kidney transplantation.
